I don’t usually get sentimental around New Year’s… but wow, 2025 tested me. 🥹
In January, I made the leap to quit my part-time store manager job and run my business full-time as a single mom. A month later, in February, my brother passed away — and our family was shaken to its core.
I put enormous pressure on myself to be everything for my kids and my business. Somewhere along the way, I lost myself, and by May, I literally had a mental breakdown.
The rest of the year became about rebuilding — gently piecing myself back together and rewriting the stories in my head about grief, strength, and the impossible myth of the “perfect” parent or business owner.
If you had a hard year too, please know this: you are not alone. The pendulum always swings the other way… eventually. 🕰️
The Year of the Snake cleared the path. And now, I’m stepping into 2026 with my power focused on progress — and only the things I can control.
Wishing everyone health, wealth, and prosperity. And most of all, the humility to lead with compassion, accept what we cannot change, and honor our own power.
