We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first Red Barn Door Market on July 23/2022. It will be part of an event at Heritage Acres - the horse and annual show. There will be mini chuckwagon races and many events going on for the weekend. 🥳

Our market will be the one day on Saturday July 23 in this barn loft! 🤩 We will open applications on Tuesday once we have had a meeting to review all the plans and details in place.

I would love an expression of interest as to how many makers could make the market and be interested in being a part of one fantastic weekend and event! 🙌 So if your a maker you can dm or comment here and let us know! Feel free to share around too!

Vendor Highlight!

Hi, I am Jenae Toews and am local to Pincher Creek AB. I started dyeing textiles with plants awhile ago just for fun. Since I'm surrounded by alot of babies, not my own yet but my family & friends I thought it would be a neat personal gift to give hand dyed blankets or piece of clothing. This is a healthy sustainable project that doesn't dump any chemicals into the earth, unlike the traditional dyeing methods. I also love to embroider and have been incorporating that into my small business as well.

Vendor Highlight!

K&H Creationz

Hello. My name is Jade and I am a mama to twins, K&H, and little miss M. I have a love for pretty fabrics and sewing. I started K&H Creationz when K&H were 8 months old, as I often found I needed something to do and keep myself busy when they were down for naps and my husband was away at work.

What started out from making baby blankets and tag toys grew over the last few years to what it is today, making custom bags, key fobs, wallets, pouches, essential oil bags and more! I love working with high-end fabrics and cork, which you will often find incorporated into all of my items.

After 5 years, I have continued to branch out and share my love of sewing and creating custom items for others, because everybody likes unique.

We are sad to announce that our very first Red Barn Door Market has been cancelled due to the restrictions Dr. Deena Hinshaw has put in place because of Covid-19.

Being that times are tough for small businesses, we will be showcasing our vendors on both our Facebook (Red Barn Door Market) & Instagram (redbarndoormarket) pages, so be sure to follow us and support our small businesses!

As COVID-19 progresses here in Alberta, us organizers of RBDM are keeping up to date on all changes being made by our provincial government.
Being that our market is June 6, a little over 2 months away, we are not cancelling our event as of yet.
We will of course be monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and if things are still very serious closer to market time, we will either postpone or cancel.
Applications are still open till April 1st, so we're encouraging you to apply! Vendors of RBDM will be announced the middle of April!
