The elephant is hard to miss.

The flowers are easy to overlook.

Yet both are part of the same story.

While exploring Tarangire National Park, I watched this elephant feeding among a field of wildflowers. It was a reminder that nature is deeply connected. Even the largest animals rely on the smallest parts of an ecosystem.

There's something beautiful about the way everything in nature is connected. 🌿🐘

On a walk with my camera, I found myself drawn to the details that are easy to overlook. Fading tulips, emerging buds, hidden flowers, sunlight through leaves, and the textures and colours woven throughout the landscape.

Each photo felt like a reminder to slow down and notice the beauty around us. The railway winding through the trees felt like a reminder that nature was here long before us. 🌿📷

Last summer I planted forget-me-nots in a small garden pot, and this spring they popped up through the cracks in my patio stones. 💙

These tiny flowers are often called “w**ds” because they spread so easily, but why does w**d have to sound like a bad thing? So many so-called w**ds are beautiful, helpful to pollinators, and surprisingly resilient.

Honestly, I’m glad these ones spread. They inspired some of my favourite resin jewelry pieces. ✨
