Beautiful Star Beads I am Malinda Gray, an Ojibway/First Nations artist who expresses herself through beadwork. This page This page is for showcasing my beadwork.

I've been beading since I was in my teens. I find beading a very creative and meditative art form. When you purchase my items you are purchasing an authentic Native Made piece of art. I am Anishnabe, an Ojibway of the Lac Seul Band born into the Caribou Clan. Not all of my beadwork is Native-inspired, you'll find pieces that are more mainstream like Russian Spiral bracelets or Herringbone/crystal

I was invited to attend by for their Spring Art Exhibit. Over 100 kids learned the Potawatomi stitch and we made backpack pulls. I couldn't have done it without the help of my sister .ca. Chi-miigwech for holding space for us and Indigenous knowledge.

Look at that proud momma. Lots of baby turtles to bead on March 15th at the PTBO Library class hosted by Beautiful Star Beads and myself, Daysky Designs. The Turtle Art is done by Daysky too.
