Maille-Storm Chainmaille Designs Chainmaille is one of the earliest forms of metal armor worn by soldiers in the Dark Ages, Middle Dark ages and the Renaissance.

Chainmaille is the connecting of tiny rings to form a metal mesh. Today, Chainmaille can be seen in fashion and jewelry! All of my Chainmaille jewelry is made from bright aluminum. Aluminum is shiny, incredibly light and is rust-resistant. Aluminum is fairly inexpensive which enables me to share my Chainmaille with others at low costs. Beads and anodized aluminum coloured rings can also be found in my work.
