The familiar path.
2026, new year, new calendar, new life, new you?
A pathway known to locals- a relic, a local beat, a known path where the tall trees frame the winding path. Ocean breeze and sunshine coming through the trees highlighting the forest diversity. Familiar, the look, the feel of the salt air, the rich smell of the ocean shoreline and the thick salal of the forest.
Or is it? The path may be familiar, but if you know this path as well as I do, you know that there are 100 ways to walk it, 100 different turns, 100 ways to distract one’s self, how far you go varies. The choice is yours, will you try something new this time? Will you put your head down, headphones on and continue on? Will you stop to smell the Nootka wild roses (in June)? Options are limitless, potential is abundant and the pathway is clear.
