This is not the prettiest nor my favourite piece, but I am very proud of it. About four years ago Frank cut this odd shaped Oregon Sunstone, and gave it to me. A lot of precious metal clay was used as I tried and failed to create a setting for it. And finally, I succeeded. Look at that beautiful schiller!!

Folks, this ring, and my husband, are amazing. We brainstormed a bit with grandson Kai regarding 3-D printers. After arriving in Arizona, Frank learned how to use a 3-D drawing program, (every bit as complicated as AutoCad). He designed this ring, then printed it out on the 3-D printer. Then he used the plastic printout to create a sand casting mold of the ring. THEN he took some of my silver clay mishaps and melted them down. He poured the silver into the mold and the ring was created. THEN he polished it to perfection and set a gorgeous Guerrero Topaz that he cut himself, into the ring.
