My Michael Carter Memorial Scholarship Experience: Celebrating a Legacy   

About two months ago, I had the incredible honour of winning a scholarship at school that introduced me to a remarkable man named Michael Carter. Until that moment, I knew nothing of him or his legacy. Naturally, I turned to the internet to learn more, and what I discovered filled me with deep admiration for his life and values.

Recently, I had the privilege of attending the second-year memorial dinner in his honour and meeting his wonderful friends and family. Being the first recipient of the Michael Carter Memorial Scholarship has been a blessing and I am profoundly grateful for it. This experience has enriched my life in many ways, especially through the wisdom and encouragement from those I met, which I will forever treasure.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and inspired me on this journey. I am truly honoured and deeply appreciative.
