Stillnsteady is a prayer to find the moments of stillness in everyday life, to be at peace with the process, and invest steadily in our own development. It is a reminder that we are resilient, and that change takes time. They undergo extreme pressure and temperature, moved by steady yet constant forces. They might have formed in the belly of the earth in magma chambers, they might have been near a
deep-sea subduction zone, or they might have surfaced quickly (as in our beloved lava beads). They operate on timescales of hundreds of thousands of years! Amazingly, they are deeply vulnerable and display every sign of their history. Rock lovers are history lovers too. We, humans, are more fickle. But there is a part of us that so naturally connects to the steady calmness of nature, of the rocks on our wrists, in our pocket, or beneath our feet. May these stones can be a gentle reminder of that stillness within you.
