Every custom piece of jewellery started with a conversation.

Heirloom pearls that needed a new home. A teal sapphire that had to be sourced specifically. A purple sapphire solitaire that was already sold, so we found something even better. A design loved in yellow gold, reimagined in white.

None of these pieces existed before someone reached out.

That’s the whole point of custom. You don’t need a perfect brief of a clear vision. You just need to start the conversation. I’ll take it from there.

Custom concussions open! DM me.

Buying a coloured gemstone is not the same as buying a diamond. The grading systems are different, the visual factors are different, and the things that actually make a stone beautiful are not always on a certificate.

Here’s what I wish more people knew before they started shopping:

Darker is not better. A stone that goes almost black under real light is not a fine stone — it’s just a dark one. What you want is vivid saturation with life in it.

A certificate tells you what’s measurable. It cannot tell you how a sapphire performs in candlelight, or how its colour shifts when you move your hand. That takes a trained eye — and ideally, seeing the stone in person.

Origin matters, but not as a ranking. Sri Lankan, Australian, Montana, Madagascar — each origin has its own character. The ‘best’ sapphire is the one whose colour you actually fell in love with.

I hand-select every gemstone that comes through my studio. Because the difference between a fine stone and a mediocre one isn’t always obvious in a photo — but you’ll feel it every day you wear it.

Save this one. You’ll want it when you start shopping.

In June of last year, put my ring on a billboard. I decided right there and then that I had to quit my job and work for myself full time.

I sat with that for six months. Then I gave my two months notice.

I’ve loved jewellery since high school — wire wrapping, beaded pieces, anything I could make with my hands. When it was time to choose where to study, I enrolled at l’Ecole de joaillerie de Montreal. The moment I watched a teacher melt silver for the first time, I was completely gone.

I spent years after that working at the bench — as a jeweller, a repairs specialist, a production manager. I loved the craft. But I was also quietly building something on the side, taking on my own clients, making pieces that felt like mine.

The billboard was the moment I couldn’t ignore anymore. It told me that what I was making had a place in the world beyond the shop I was working in.

I’ve been on my own ever since. Every piece I make is handmade, in my studio, by me. And I’ve never once looked back.

If you’re new here — welcome. Follow along for everything that goes into building this from the bench up.

You guys didn’t hold back in the stories.

A few days ago, I shared that I fell in love with a 1.75ct antique Moval cut natural diamond from . showed it to me, and I fell in love!

What happened next got me out of my comfort zone, while you guys told me what I should create with it.

Here were the instructions:

Yellow gold, center diamond set north-south, with asymmetric side (colorful) stones in warm hues. You also wanted me to focus on fancy shapes as accent stones, though I did add one small round, sorry guys!

Then, as additional requests, people messaged me asking for a wide, chunky band, for a hidden stone and a peakaboo, hidden detail where I added a cursive letter under the head.

Another funny request, was to tag .favre . You know who you are 😂

How did I do?

Let’s get this one done! Send me a DM and I’ll send you the price.
