I got mail today. Across the envelope stamped urgent was the message "I'm writing you personally because you have an important role to play". It was written very personally. The computer that auto filled in my name in three places (if you count the address) even had my name spelled my name right. Yet I don't consider a computer printed signature personal. But it must be, as not only the envelope, but third paragraph tells me this letter was written to me personally.
1st off, while I don't like paying more for gas, I actually understand the reasons for the carbon tax. While there are things I am critical about J. Trudeau...the carbon tax is not one of them.
If we are expanding the scope of the care we expect from paramedic; why was the training just dropped drop two years to one? I am one of the many Nova Scotians without a doctor. Yet your message of "If your good enough to practice..." quite frankly if scary. I have many autoimmune and chronic pain issues. I want the best doctors, not good enough doctors, trying to figure out how I can live a normal as possible day to day life, preferably without pain meds that are disorientating.
Why do we need a med school in UCCB? There hospital there isn't large enough to take on all the med students. How about making a plan to retain the more graduates from Dal's med program; and the RNs and NPs that graduate from the many programs province wide.
I'm so very excited you gave tax $$$ to Lawton's and Guardian pharmacy, so now when I have a medical issue, not having a family doctor and not wanting to tie-up the emergency room, I can go to them. Oh, but wait, I have a few times, only to be told my symptoms were more complicated then they could prescribe for, or it was simply not something on their list and still sent to emerge. I would have much rathered my tax dollars be but towards the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Maybe you should spend sometime in the AGNS. The works there are a part of all of us. If you wish to be taken back in time, challenged to see or think differently than you did before, be inspired by beauty, peace or calm; anything is possible with a walk through the gallery.
So I have to say , your personal, not so personal letter did not have the effect on me you were hoping for. Good luck to you and . I'm hoping to see a change.
