We’re one year old!

I wanted say thank you to everyone who’s visited, followed, shared, liked, or referred anyone our way. Your support has been the biggest help, so it really means a lot. We’ll be celebrating all week with snacks and loot bags (while quantities last), plus an assortment of items on sale.

A few cool facts to note. In the past year, we’ve:

-Supported 21 artisans. From artwork to chocolate; candles to tea; we’re slowly filling all the nooks and crannies!

-Done almost 500 repairs. That doesn’t even take into account the alterations and customs!

-Attended 4 markets. (We’re also attending the Little Black Dress event at the Chester Yacht Club July 22nd.)

-Hosted 2 clothing swaps. Entirely unrelated, but I love a good thrift find. We were able to raise money for the fire hall while socializing and trading threads. 50+ people attended each time. (If you’re interested in the next one, check out South Shore Clothing Swap.)

So thanks again for all the support, I’m excited to see what the next year brings.

Hinge ring in action! We didn’t replace the whole shank, just added what was needed.

Probably my favourite repair to date… added a hinge to her ring to fit over arthritic knuckles. I’ll post a video soon 🤟...

Parking News! 🚗 🚙
We’ve got a designated spot right beside the shop that you can use (on the rail to trail side of the building) which is awesome!
Please refrain from blocking the driveway with the no parking sign… it’s not mine, and there’s been quite a few times they’ve had to ask people to move to let them in and out.
For other parking options, the rail to trail is very nearby, and there’s free public parking across the street at the convenience store. Thanks!!
