AUCTION FEATURE: LOT 2177 | 1948 Canadian Silver Voyageur Dollar (ICCS MS-64)

Up for bidding in our upcoming September 12th–14th Auction!

The King of Canadian Dollars: The 1948 issue is the ultimate key date of the entire Voyageur Silver Dollar series (1935–1967).

Ultra-Low Mintage: With a tiny mintage of just 18,780 coins, it is the lowest-mintage regular-issue circulating silver dollar in Canadian history.

Historical Context: Delayed die production following India's independence in 1947β€”which required removing "IND:IMP" from King George VI's titleβ€”led to this remarkably low production run.

Premium Gem Grade: Certified MS-64 by ICCS (International Coin Certification Service). Uncirculated examples in choice MS-64 condition are exceptionally rare and highly sought after by elite collectors.

A marquee investment-grade piece and a true holy grail for Canadian coin enthusiasts!
