One of my favourite parts of designing is finding two elements that somehow just belong together.

For the Queen Bee necklace, it was the moment I paired these smoky quartz beads with the bee pendant. I wanted something that felt warm and earthy for fall, but not too fall — something you could wear long after the leaves are gone.

The chocolatey, translucent tones of the smoky quartz gave me exactly that, and against the antique-gold bee, the whole piece suddenly clicked. 🐝

Sometimes a design starts with a sketch. Sometimes it starts with a stone. And sometimes it’s simply two things sitting beside each other on my worktable and thinking… oh. There you are.
