Imagine if your boss doubled your workload, offered absolutely no increase in pay or benefits, but offered you a chance at exposure. Early on, the exposure was great and made it worth it, but then things shifted, gradually at first but in a really big way that made the workload unbearable.

Content creation is a second full-time job for most creatives. We are basically working for free for a shot at exposure, and the game is completely rigged. I know I'm not the only one that has been battling the ever-changing algorithm just to make enough money to cover basic human needs.

Now the terms of use have crossed a line that many creatives cannot bear. In the end, none of us are being forced to use social media. We all have a choice in the matter, so I'm choosing to be the gal that's breaking up with her toxic ex (social media).

You will continue to see posts on my accounts. I will maintain approximately 90 days of content, deleting old posts to make room for new ones, but you might find it... dissatisfying going forward. If you want to see the good stuff, you'll have to come find me on the ad-free, bot-free, 🇨🇦 platforms. DM for deets.

I've got busy hands over here polishing up a storm! Sometimes I need a little extra power, and sometimes good ol' fashioned elbow grease does the trick.

Today I learned how much better a quiet air compressor is for engraving. My old compressor used to make me jump whenever it kicked on 🙉, and I definitely slipped and gouged my metal plate more than a few times 😬😅. I'm glad I can focus better now and enjoy that uninterrupted flow state.
