Well it was a battle to say the least but we came up short by a score of 44-26, hats off to the Trojans on a very well played game. We have some bumps and bruises but should have everybody back for Monday/Runday. The guys battled and gave what I would call maximum effort but sometimes you are just outmanned by extremely large human beings. Lol.
A big plus was the 5th quarter where our young guys move the ball all the way down the field and made some great plays on defence. Proud of each and every one of our Eagles.
Next game is on Thursday in Cupar at 4:00, come out and cheer the guys on.

GAME DAY!!!!! It’s gonna be a brawl this afternoon against the always tough Ituna Trojans! Come out and cheer on the guys, we are back to an almost full crew after some injuries over the last couple of weeks. We’ve had a week of very good practices and are looking forward to a great game, the offence should be firing on all cylinders and expect the D to be extremely stingy. 4:00 kickoff with food from the Moms in the canteen.

Thanks for all of the shares and messages, our bag showed back up this morning. We really appreciate all of the support.

Good morning fans, over the past few weeks we have come to practice in the mornings to often find our equipment scattered around from someone messing around with it in the evenings. We haven’t said much to date because nothing has been missing, just not where it should be. That changed this morning when we came to practice and found one of our $200.00 bags gone. We, for the most part, pay for our own equipment from the monies we raise at games and through advertising so this is a big hit to our team. If anyone in town sees anybody around the east side of the school please either contact Phil or Mr. Mayo and advise who they people are. Also if anyone sees our bag please let us know, it’s a red rectangular bag about 5’ L x 15” H x 15” W as seen in the photo.

It’s Game Day!!! Come out and cheer on the boys at 4:00, we will be taking on a tough Raymore squad today but the sun is shining and the guys are ready to roll. The canteen will be open as always and food will be served so come out for football and some eats on a beautiful afternoon and watch some exciting 6-man action!

Well our young men battled hard but sheer numbers beat us, we lost a 41-16 battle to a great team with what seemed like a never ending bench. What a great effort and “never quit” attitude from our guys though right up to the last play. Coachs Mayo, Stewart, and Lingelbach could not be more proud of the effort shown by our crew. Back at it Monday for Funday, Runday and get ready to go next Friday at 4:00. See you all there.

Thanks to the Bert Fox Bisons for having us out for a shared practice and controlled scrimmage. We learned some 9-man things and hopefully they learned some 6-man stuff, there is no doubt thought that we all had a blast. Good luck this season guys! Don’t forget that our first game is this upcoming Friday at 4:00, see you all there.

Congratulations again to Stephen Paul Smith on making the South Saskatchewan Selects Football team! Stephen undoubtedly made this team due to his fantastic football IQ as well as his “never quit” attitude, I’m sure being 6’1” and 200lbs didn’t hurt either. As part of this experience Stephen will be playing in an Interprovincial tournament on the Jan 5th weekend as well as travelling to San Antonio Texas in late February to participate in the International Pigskin Football Tournament on Feb 23rd and 24th. I think I can speak for the North Valley Highschool as well as Lemberg and surrounding communities to say how proud we all are of your great accomplishments.
Congrats again Stephen and Go Eagles Go!!!
