Rough, organic rings made from stones that were never meant to be set. Can you imagine the possibilities? 🤔

This emerald already had natural pyrite growing on it, so I played into it. The metal breaks open at the seams, and the whole piece looks like it's growing straight out of the Pyrite & Metal

This ring shouldn't exist this way, but wow, has it turned into one of my favorite projects.

A seer carried a stone with no fixed meaning — fate waiting to happen, not fate already written. Some things are lost. This one was tossed, on purpose, out into the open daylight, for whoever it was meant to find. She didn't aim it. That was the point. It would cross someone's path exactly when it was meant to — no sooner. She carved nothing on this one. Some things belong to fate, and to the unknown, and to whoever's story was waiting for that small moment of wonder.

This last one isn't part of the traditional 24 — the Elder Futhark breaks into three sets of eight, called aettir, each carrying its own arc.
This stone is a 25th, a modern addition some call Odin's rune, or Wyrd. It's left blank on purpose, because it has no fixed meaning of its own — just fate, waiting to happen.
Thank you to everyone who followed along on this hunt — twenty-five days, twenty-five stones, scattered across Leduc with a little piece of story behind each one.

This isn't the end of the road — there will be more hunts.

Dagaz (ᛞ) — day; breakthrough, awakening, transformation

A man stood at the edge of a harbor before dawn, watching the first ships cast off into a sky still dark at the horizon. He'd spent years circling the same choice, never quite landing on yes or no. Something about watching strangers set sail without looking back finally loosened what had been stuck in him so long. He didn't board a ship that day — he didn't need to. The shift had already happened, quiet and sudden, the way night gives way to morning without any warning at all. He carved Dagaz onto a stone before he left: breakthrough doesn't announce itself. One moment you're circling, and the next, you're already somewhere new.
