Claudia will be heading to Springfield, Ohio this fall where she’ll continue both her academic and athletic career competing in Track & Field and Women’s Hockey at the collegiate level.

A great experience for a few of our U18 AVS players including Libby Hunter, Lilly Russell, Kennedy Buffett, Brianne Graves and Hannah Stetson who attended at Mohawk College this weekend! A day of Olympic inspired training for young athletes, led by a number of elite athletes.

A monumental day for women’s hockey in Hamilton!

The Ancaster Avalanche Girls Hockey family is thrilled to welcome the new PWHL Hamilton team to our city!

Today, our very own Bri Graves (88) proudly represented the Avs at the official Hamilton announcement alongside players from the Stoney Creek Sabres, Flamborough Falcons, and Hamilton Hawks.

To see young athletes standing front and centre during such a historic moment is inspiring for every girl who dreams of playing the game they love. The future of women’s hockey has never looked brighter in Hamilton, and we are honoured to have been part of it.

This is more than a team announcement, it is a statement that girls belong in hockey, dreams are possible, and the next generation is ready to rise.
