The Market has enjoyed over 14 years of activity at the waterfront location.

Hello all, Hope everyone had a great Easter and are all ready for Spring weather. With the coming of spring I am setting an Organizational meeting for the Guysborough Community Market on Wednesday, May 11th at 2:00 PM in the meeting room of the Chedabucto Lifestyle Center. Guysborough Community Market Co-operative
Hello Guysborough and area residents,

Hope you all had a good fall and winter and are all ready to start marketing again soon. The Community Market members are looking for fresh input to try to improve the Market for the coming year. The Market will be in the Jost building again this year and the hours will be from 1:00PM until 4:00 PM. The building will be opened for set up from 12:00 PM. The first market will be on July 2nd and then every Saturday until the end of August.
I am planning an organizational meeting early in April. I need to have a account of interested market vendors before I go ahead with the AGM in June. Plans so far are for the Annual General Meeting to held early in June at the Chedabucto Lifestyle Centre. Election of officers will be held at that time. The executive for last year was: President- Gary Simpson, Vice President- Melissa Grace, Secretary/Treasurer- Sandra Potter, Directors at large are: June Bowie, Eva Schultz, Fred Sullivan, and Alexander Bridge.
Market vendors this year bring such items to the table as Maple Syrup, Crocheting, Jewellery, Cards, Tote Bags, T-Shirts, Soap, Candles, Wood products, Veggies, Eggs, Preserves, Coffee and Tea. We have several new vendors already but are always interested in more. Any bakers or food vendors interested please give me a call, Sandi, at 902-358-2061
For any new vendors out there the cost of an 8 foot by 3 foot table is $10.00 per week. For information contact Sandi by email ([email protected]), phone (902-358-2061), or on face book.
