Bring an instrument, sing a tune, jump in on tambourine, shaker, spoons, or just come out, tap your feet, clap along, and enjoy the music and harbour views.

No pressure, no stage fright, just good people making music together down at the wharf.

9 of Swords ⚔️

This card appears when we may be full of anxiety and worry to the point it may even be keeping us up at night. We may allow our minds to wander to the absolute worst case scenarios, even if we have no idea if that’s how things will actually play out or not. Now this isn’t to say the anxiety you’re feeling isn’t valid, but is it as big and worrisome as we’re making it out to be?

The position of the swords gives a good visual, and also a bit of a clue how to approach the situation we are in. The nine swords on the wall can be overwhelming when we look at them together (think of these as anxieties mounting upon one another). However, if we take each one down and examine it closer, it helps us move past the intimidation factor.

Our anxieties mount on top of one another until we feel trapped under their weight. They haunt us in our waking life and in our states of rest. And they won’t truly go away until we begin to dismantle each one to get a closer look. This may be a tricky and difficult process to do on one’s own, depending on what exactly is going on. It may be worth reaching out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional to help you find the proper resources to help you at this time.

✨ From our mind arises fear and anxieties, however, that same mind can also be our path to liberation. With help and guidance, we can get there. ✨

A little behind the scenes of labeling my dandelion body butter 🌼

A lot of work happens behind the scenes. All the little steps in the process don’t always get seen. From designing and printing labels to cutting and placing each one by hand, it’s more than just making the product itself.

This is just a small glimpse into it, but it’s all part of the process and a part I genuinely enjoy.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your incredible support of our online auction!

Together, we raised $5,139.15, with proceeds going directly toward our homes, day programs, youth summer camp, vehicle expenses, and community vacations. We are truly grateful for the generosity and encouragement shown to our organization.

We cannot thank the stores, vendors, and donors enough for their generous donations of goods, and a very big thank you to everyone who placed bids and won items—your participation made this event such a success.

One of the guiding lights of our mission statement is: “Foster an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of our members.” Each of you brought this to life by helping us surpass our fundraising goal.

Guess what I’m in the process of restocking? 👀

Here’s a little behind the scenes look at the body butter making process. Just about done! It just has to thicken up a bit more in the fridge and then I’ll take it back out to whip up again before putting into containers and adding the labels. 🥰❤️

Making them is the fun part - the clean up, not so much. LOL 😆

The card is the 6 of Fire 🔥

When the 6 of Fire appears, it may signal a time when we’re in some sort of dispute or conflict, or possibly heading in the direction of one due to tensions rising and disagreements taking place. This conflict may be fuelled by ego, pride, or a desire to be right, recognized, or in control. A resolution is possible, but it will require open communication and a willingness to make changes where necessary. Some type of compromise must take place.

If a resolution cannot be agreed upon, or if the conflict escalates further, it may require bringing a mediator in to help both parties decide on a course of action to resolve the issue at hand. It may not be the outcome you are expecting, however it might very well be the outcome that is needed for both parties to move forward.
