Meet Alisha Escobar- founder and designer of Silsïla Jewelry. She recently started Silsïla in 2019 in her home where passion became a reality.
After exploring her roots for the first time in Lebanon, jewelry soon became an essential to her. It was too beautiful to be true. Here came her idea of recreating a famous design they had back when she was visiting the country: chained rings. “I had never, but never seen that in my life, I was in love”. Inspired, she decided to create jewelry that aligned with her style and started her line naming it Silsïla that refers to chain in arabic.
THE BRAND
Authenticity is my brand. For me this word is crucial, especially nowadays. We are in a society where we tend to go towards what others like and think twice before doing something we truly want to do because we are scared of other people’s opinions and or scared of not fitting in. In 2019, I finally faced my fears of an entrepreneur, I decided to create what I love to do without the opinions of others. Our jewelry is authentic and we want you to be best friends with authenticity. We want you to say yes to an opportunity that you desire and profoundly want but that may scare you, to be true to yourself, to love yourself as you are and others, and most importantly to be different from others.
