his creations. No visit to Prince Edward Island is complete without a visit to Peter’s family friendly studio, it is definitely a highlight and one of the top things to do while on the island. The Shoreline Design Studio was featured in the book "Prince Edward Island Book of Musts--The 101 Places Every Islander Must See" by Erin J. The July 2007 issue of Lifestyle Magazine also highlighted Peter’s Seaglass jewelry as "One of the top 10 must have souvenirs in the Maritimes." The Shoreline Design Studio is located at 40 Water Street, Georgetown, PEI. You can also see Peter's work featured at The Craft Shop--along with other artists--a few doors down at the corner of Kent and Water streets. Peter's remarkable carvings and sea glass jewelry are offered for sale at both locations.

We are excited to share our latest in-house creations these handcrafted, Sterling, silver medallions feature detailed Ancient bronze, dragonfly on highly textured surfaces. Each piece is meticulously fabricated in our shop. We love the dramatic contrast between the brilliant shine of the textures, Sterling, silver base and the earthy tones of the solid bronze dragonflies

We are open today and we restocked the only thing that we don’t make by hand in our shop and that is the Sterling Silver chains. This is the photo from our Summerside shop, but we both have the same chains available as we restocked them yesterday. I remember the early bird catches the worm so today would be a good day to start some Christmas shopping early.

Lighting makes all the difference with these labradorite rings—each one displayed on a raw slab, with a polished piece glowing behind. Labradorite is famous for its magical flashes of blue, green, and gold, and every ring shows off its own unique fire. Each piece is handcrafted in our studio using sterling silver sourced from a local Ontario refinery. Snapping the perfect shot? It’s all about capturing that ever-changing play of light! (Pretty sure it’s the middle ring in the first photo stealing the show, but with labradorite, it’s anyone’s guess!) Price $95 plus tax
Labradorite was first discovered in 1770 on the Isle of Paul, near Nain in Labrador, Canada—which is how it got its name. Local Inuit communities were already familiar with the stone’s unique play of color, known as labradorescence. European missionaries and geologists later brought labradorite to wider attention, and it quickly became prized for its striking flashes of blue, green, and gold.
