Hello again!

It’s been quite a busy year for me personally with lots of big events, which means I’ve been very quiet on here and with my jewelry business.

Truthfully, I really haven’t made much at all this year. It’s a combination of being busy and a little bit of a lack of inspiration to be honest.

With that being said, I still love sharing my pieces with you all and have lots already made with plans to work on more new stuff soon.

I do have a few holiday market events on my calendar for November/December and I really hope to see you there!

Just something pretty for you on this (finally) Friday!!

Did this not feel like the longest week ever?! Multiple days this week I thought it was Friday… the week was dragging but we finally made it.

This is my last event likely until end of September (busy summer for me life-wise!) so come grab some real flower jewelry to rock this summer!!!

One week from today the starts for the season!! I’ll be set up there in downtown Georgetown for opening day, Saturday June 6th 🤍

The following weekend, Saturday June 13th, I’ll be set up in Guelph at royal city park with 🤍

This is one of my favourite styles recently, a hanging garden in little circles 🤍 they’re a little bit dangly but not too long
Sometimes I do different combinations of tiny flowers, depending on what fits best!

Still learning but here’s some thoughts I want to share…

- a long event doesn’t necessarily mean more sales - I’ve made much more money during a 5 hr event than at some 8 hr events

- Not every vendor spot in the event space is equal - some are definitely better than others for foot traffic etc, but unfortunately the layout and assigned spaces are up to the event organizer and some times you just get luckier than others

- Many spring/summer markets are not very busy even if the weather is great - a lot of the time people are traveling, out of town at cottages, or just not shopping in these seasons

- a unique but organized and clean display is eye catching and fun for shoppers to look at - a professional looking display automatically adds value to whatever you’re selling

- Some markets are just simply going to have better results than others and sometimes it has nothing to do with you or even the organizers - it takes some trial and error to figure out what types of shoppers and events are the best fit for you, and even then it can be unpredictable sometimes!

It’s lilac season🪻
Starting to smell real nice outside my front door, definitely going to need to pick and press some of these beauties this weekend - and crossing my fingers for them to keep as much purple colour as possible while the dry!

New earrings made with tulip petals - insanely delicate but the details are incredible 🤍

What do you think of this style of real flower jewelry? It’s a great way to incorporate bigger flowers into little pieces 🤍
