The hardest part of raising independent kids… is letting them go explore the world. (But it’s a good thing) ❤️

In February, we stood at a train station in Australia saying goodbye to two excited young women & the adventure of a lifetime that was just beginning.

Life in 2026 has brought some challenges into my world, but also some truly wonderful moments.

My husband and I had flown to Australia with our youngest daughter Kat and her friend Halle as they prepared to begin 4 months of travel. Their plan starts in Australia, with hopes of heading to Bali, Vietnam, and Thailand — although knowing them, that plan could easily change as they take it day by day.

We started our trip in the Glass House Mountains where we spent a night in a lovely Airbnb with the most wonderful hosts. They even took us out touring in his ’69 Mustang! From there we made our way to the Sunshine Coast for a week, and eventually to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.

In Surfers, we were lucky enough to find a place to stay with the most incredible view from the 34th floor. (Heights totally freak me out, but I’ll do just about anything for an ocean view — I just stayed well away from the railing 😉).

Then came the day we had to fly home … but there is something comforting about leaving your girl in a place she already loves — by the ocean, with the whole world ahead of her. I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next. 🥰

Let’s move on to some rings 🌼

This sweet Daisy ring has always been a favourite of mine. It’s cast in sterling silver with a warm bronze centre that really makes the petals and tiny disk florets stand out.

I love wearing this ring on its own, but it also stacks beautifully with skinny rings for a more layered look. I do have skinny rings available as well, and if you’re interested in stacking, I’m happy to show you some options in your size.

Hi! You’ve loved these sweet little earrings for so long — and I truly enjoy making them, so it’s a win-win 🩵

Here’s what I currently have made and available. They’re crafted from Argentium Silver, which is slower to tarnish than traditional sterling silver (Argentium is 93.5% silver - Sterling is 92.5% silver).

All of these pairs are finished in a bright, shiny polish. If you’d prefer a darker, oxidized look, just let me know — I’m happy to do that for you.

It’s hard to believe it’s already December 1st. I know I’ve been quiet on here, but I honestly just needed a break.

When I started my business in 2012, everything was about making and creating. No algorithms, SEO, tariffs, postal strikes or reels — I just made things I loved, simple as that.

This year I watched so many maker friends and small businesses close their doors, and it made me ask myself: Where do I go from here? I realized I had two options: close… or pivot. And I chose pivot.

I don’t have it all figured out yet, but here’s what I do know: I’m proud of this little business I’ve built over 13 years, I’m grateful for the amazing community that has supported me, and I’m not ready to give up on any of it.

So here’s the plan:

I’m still going to make the jewelry I love — that part isn’t changing. I’ll keep posting my ready-to-ship pieces right here. I won’t be adding much to Etsy for now, so if you want to see what’s available, this is the place to be.

I’m also going to start selling some of my supplies. I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to pretty things, and hanging onto it all has become more overwhelming than inspiring. It’s time to clear some space and let those materials find new homes.

I’m choosing to keep creating — but instead of ordering new supplies, I’m challenging myself to work with what I already have. A reset, not a retreat.
