It’s hard to explain how these sorts of things come together but they always do. 💜🙏🏼

No one could convince me otherwise - God guides us all and some days that means he simply whispers a hint in my ear to help me help someone else.

Our crystal angel supplies are running low. Some colours are nearly gone. I wish it was just a matter of ordering more but the supplier doesn’t make this shape anymore. I’ve cleaned out every vendor I can find.

So when I get a larger order, my heart always sinks a little. “What colour are you hoping for?” and “How many do you need?”…

And for this very special request that just came in - I knew how important it was to have enough angels.

Ordered by one of our long-time supporters - in memory of her younger sister that has just passed away unexpectedly. These angels are to honour Cherie. 💜 among many other beautiful parts of her story - she was a music teacher.

I know there are a lot of broken mourning hearts right now and if an angel could help in any way - of course we want to fill as many hands with an angel charm as possible.

So when the first request for 20 came in - I was confident we’d have enough.

Then the number climbed to 30 - yup - should still be ok.

And then today the request for 40 - I just don’t know. I need to go and count…

Surprisingly I had enough purple crystal dresses. Phew! But then I counted out the treble clef charms. 36 only - my heart sank.

Now the charms I can order more of - but not before Tuesday when they’ll be picked up.

So I sat for a moment, started to feel a familiar warmth in my chest and then suddenly I just knew exactly where to look to find more treble clefs.

If you’ve ever seen my studio and the sheer volume of supplies I have in this room - you’ll know how finding them was nothing short of a miracle.

At the bottom of one of my “bead soup” containers (that still needs to be sorted so I don’t run into this problem again and again).

I plucked out the bag of charms and had more than enough to make these 40 special angels.

Guess where we were today 👀 🩷

I dropped off a few dozen brand NEW designs with our friends The RAK Consignment Boutique in Edmonton in Sherwood Park.

Of course it was entirely distracting to see all of the amazing finds on their racks this time of year.

So when you stop by, please say “Hi” to Dara and Dawn-Marie from me! They’re two of my favourite people and we love cheering them on in their incredible business. ❤️

Today, our post isn’t a typical Mother’s Day post (but we sincerely wish all of you mammas are having a special day). It is an Angel Story kind of day and it happens to be Mother’s Day.

I got a text this morning from someone who holds a very special place in my heart. She knows the angels well. I suspect her hands have made more angels with us than we could count. So when she told me she needed 10 angels today - of course it was as an immediate “yes”.

It was one of those situations that warranted a hand delivery of the angels. Time was of the essence. ❤️

Of course I happened to have 10 aqua coloured crystals- because that was the colour she was hoping for.

Of course when I put my hand in the stash and pulled out a few - there were 10 crystals without me even having to count them. Not 9 and not 11… TEN.

Of course they came together seamlessly. And quickly. And of course they were delivered in time.

How does it work so beautifully? I used to say I didn’t know - it was a big mystery. But when the angels are truly needed - it always goes this way. Effortlessly.

I know the answer now. I finally understand. God’s Will. His Grace. His Love. You couldn’t convince me otherwise. Little miracles that really aren’t so little. He wanted these angels to be delivered in time.

So the angels are now in her hands and she’ll be sharing them with her family as they grieve together.

Their loss is going to be immense. A mother, a grandmother. Someone who was loved dearly.

Tonight I’m sending so much love and light to her and her entire family.

And I’m humbled yet again at what “mom”, “mother”, “mama”, and “maja” means. How very blessed I’ve been. How very grateful I am.

Love you, my Girl ❤️ Thank you for sharing the angels yet again.
