I took a break from social media while the month of May turned our lives upside down a little.
May has not been especially kind to me. But that’s ok. Maybe the Universe wanted me to slow down. And, honestly-things could have been worse.

We lost a lot in the flooded basement- BUT most of it is replaceable.
All of the contents of my basement that we didn’t lose are on the main floor and have taken over my garage - BUT I still have a warm and safe house to live in.
All of my business supplies have been displaced - BUT none of it got damaged and it will give me a chance to reorganize.
We were at the end of our basement renovation (4 years in the making) - BUT someone else will do the repairs.
Being sick knocked me on my ass for 2 weeks - BUT I got caught up on sleep.
And I am so EXCITED to get back to my shop!!

Things feel a little chaotic right now- but we are starting to get back to normal. 😊
I have a couple of projects to ‘catch up’ on, and then Customs will open June 1st 😊

Some recipes are more than ingredients - they are memories.

This Beigne de Patate (potato donut) recipe is made in our family’s homes every Christmas in a French-Canadian family tradition, and is now engraved onto a cutting board for her children and grandchildren so the tradition will never be lost.

Because the most meaningful heirlooms are the ones you can still use, bake from and pass down.

These Handwritten Recipe Cutting Boards will be available on my website when it launches.
