I would like to make a post to honor the ULTIMATE 'Shop Local' Business Owner Queen 👑 of Island Affair - Lila Blair. Affair Giftware

I had the pleasure of receiving Lila's warm encouragement and inspiring feedback for close to 4 years, while she held space for my jewelry to be displayed in her amazing shop. 🎁

As I went and picked up the last of my supply, I was struck by how much of an impact she had on me as a person, and as a creative.

She lit the way for people to showcase their work...

Fueled by passion 🦋
Things made with hand and heart 🫴🏼🎨❤️

Though she may be gone from us in person, her spirit & legacy will forever live on thru the impact she had on the hundreds (thousands) of people that she met and touched through her little store.
Her concept of local offerings afforded as many people as possible the chance to share their love for their craft & community

I will miss you Lila 😔

Sadly I'll be selling off my stock from the shop and at the same time I will continue to give thanks and be reminded of how blessed I was for my time spent with Lila...The world is a better place because you existed 💞

Dropped off some Christmas earrings and necklaces at my favorite gift shop in Comox - on Comox Ave! 🎄❤️🎁

Haven't had much time for crafting, so I don't have as much stock in there as previous years, but there's still plenty of pearls to choose from 😍

There are around 150 vendors with SO many different products in Lila's beautifully kept shop, and I encourage you to please go check it out and support local this Holiday Season ✨️

Meet our summer team welcoming you to Island Affair Giftware this summer! We have added to our team for the summer to ensure we can help you find your perfect Island gift or souvenir!

And BIG news- we will now be open Sundays throughout July & August from 12-5. We wanted to be able to host all of the guests 7 days per week to ensure we showcase all our 150 local creatives. So hop on the trolley and then hop off to see us!
