At Kuriosities and Crow’s Nest, we’re more than shops - we’re spaces filled with coastal magic, handcrafted jewellery, and pieces made by artists from across Canada. We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that energy… someone who enjoys people, loves learning, and takes pride in doing things well.

What Your Days Will Look Like

Connecting with customers and helping them find pieces they love
Learning the stories behind our jewellery and sharing them in your own way
Packaging online orders and sending little pieces of the Island out into the world
Keeping the shop beautiful, organized, and welcoming
Learning how to do permanent bracelets (a customer favourite - we’ll train you!)
Working alongside a supportive, upbeat team
It’s a busy, engaging environment where the days move quickly and no two shifts feel quite the same.

What We’re Looking For

Warm, friendly, and naturally good with people
Positive, reliable, and willing to learn
Detail-oriented (especially with cash handling)
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
An interest in jewellery, art, or design is a bonus

Availability (Important)

*****This is a full-time year-round position. We do not have part time or summer positions available currently********

35–37.5 hours per week
5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts)

Holy Moly! The love for these little beauties has been unreal! After my DM's blowing up since my post yesterday, I have decided to drop them online TODAY at 4pm. Any rings remaining after close today, will be sent down to the shop tomorrow morning. 🥰

There really are only 7 of these lovelies with the diamonds, as although *I* loved to imagine myself at the edge of the sea with my toes in the tide while setting the tiny diamonds, I really had no idea that these sparkly little ones would have everyone standing right there next to me gazing at the horizon. And I quite love that thought...

For those that do not end up able to bring one of these home, I will be dropping the rest of the Ocean Whisperer pieces (no diamonds, alas) tomorrow. They really are so lovely too!

NEW! The glimmer on the water as the sun starts to dip, and the tide rolls softly in. Island summers, and twilight with your toes in the sea, captured all in one ring.

Each of these Limited Edition Ocean Whisperer Diamond Rings feature a Blue Topaz stone, accented by a tiny lab grown diamond cradled in 9k yellow gold. Each sterling silver band has been lovingly textured with sand gathered from the shores of Prince Edward Island.

Clean lines meet the soul of Island shores. The tension between something so contained and architectural, and the wildness of the gentle lap of waves against the sand. Not so much a contrast, as a place where they softly meet, and each compliment the other.

And because my mind just moves this way, all with the daintiness that makes a Kuriosities piece.

This bespoke ring was a delight to create, from start to finish.
