Marina's Handmades

I like doing all sorts of crafts like beading, crocheting, knitting ext. I have knitted my first sweater at the age of 14 it was nice dark-red colour two thread knitted sweater-tunic. It was very thick so I was able to wear it in the cold day of fall and feel warm. It took me about three months to finish it. But I loved that sweater and it was part of my wardrobe for a long time. I was very proud of my self. :-)

Every time I am creating something it brings peace and joy to my heart. I love work with natural stone beads, pearls, silver plated, copper, brass or stainless steel wire, cotton, acrylic and wool yarn, satin organza, grosgrain and lace ribbons. Often, I would create something as gifts for my girls, friends or someone I would like to say thank you to.

If you would ask me how do I come up with the ideas before I make anything I would not able to answer that question. It every time different. Sometimes I just take a few beads from my stock put them in front of me and think about what I can do with them. Some time idea already in my head and I need to find the parts for it. But all the time I would not stop until I feel satisfied with what I have created. I care about the quality of my creations, not the quantity. That is why I personally test my product and make adjustments to the design if the item has failed. I like to try new techniques and materials when I have free time for my self. That is why the items in my shop all different. Currently, I am learning wire weaving and wrapping, and o my I love it! Here is one of my latest work.
