A little piece of my heart…

I’m so excited to share that Fancey Stones now has its very own little website for the new peace bracelet!

Life can be messy, overwhelming and rarely goes exactly as planned. Making these bracelets has reminded me that life doesn’t have to be perfectly arranged to be beautiful.

When I create each peace bracelet, I reach into a bag of gemstones, not knowing what I’ll pull out. I let the stones come together naturally, embracing the imperfections and letting go of the need for everything to be just right.

And somehow each one turns out beautiful in its own way (each time I see one on a friend‘s wrist I just feel happy and peaceful).

Every bracelet also comes with an intention card and I love believing that sometimes the message and maybe even the bracelet finds you when you need it most.

Creating Fance stones has brought me a little Peace of my own and I am so grateful to be able to share that with you

This is how I find peace amid the chaos.

A walk along the river with the sunshine on my face , fresh air and a little quiet.

Sometimes finding peace does not have to be complicated. Sometimes, it’s just simply stepping outside and giving yourself a moment to just be.

This is one of my favourite ways to find mine.

Today was a birthday hike for two beautiful friends, and I had made each of them a Peace bracelet for their birthdays. Seeing all three of us wearing them out here made this quote feel especially fitting.

And it made me think…

The mountains shall bring peace to the people… and perhaps the people can bring a little peace to the mountains.

Friendship, fresh air, big mountains and a little perspective.

A pretty perfect way to spend a Sunday. 🤍

This little idea is starting to feel very real. 🤍

When I started making these mixed gemstone bracelets again, I really didn’t know where it would go. I just knew I loved the idea behind them — no pattern, no two alike, each one a little imperfect and completely its own.

And somehow, my first little batch of 20 Peace bracelets has already been spoken for — sold, gifted or on their way to someone. 🥹

Today I was packaging eight of them for my beautiful friend Jenn, and seeing everything finally come together — the bracelets, the little FS bead, the Peace cards, the bags and the intention cards — made me stop for a minute and take it all in.

Each Peace bracelet is a one-of-a-kind blend of genuine gemstones. And now, each one will also come with a randomly chosen intention card tucked inside — Trust. Grace. Renewal. Authenticity. Or one of the others still to come.

I think that might be my favourite part.

You don’t get to choose exactly which stones or pattern you’ll receive. And you don’t get to choose your intention either.

Maybe the bracelet — and the message — that finds you is the one you’re meant to have. 🤍

And a special thank you to my beautiful friend Pam Eike pecommunications for helping bring the vision for these cards to life. She somehow took all the little ideas floating around in my head and turned them into something that feels so perfectly Fancey Stones. 🤍

I’ve been making gemstone bracelets for six or seven years now, and lately I had started wondering if maybe I was done. Maybe I had made all the bracelets I was meant to make.

Then I spotted a bag of mixed gemstones left over from a mala-making workshop I had taught at Grassroots.

I reached in, grabbed a handful and dropped them onto my tray.

For someone who has spent years making bracelets where everything had to make sense, this was a little outside my comfort zone. 😂

I moved a few stones until they felt balanced, strung them together…and somehow created one of my favourite bracelets I’ve ever made.

I have literally worn it every day since. It seems to go with everything LOL.

Every time I glance at my wrist, I smile, drop my shoulders and take a deep breath.

This bracelet seems to feel a lot like life, things don’t always go according to plan. And maybe they don’t have to. 🤔

Lately, I’m learning to let go a little more. To trust. To give myself grace. To accept imperfection. To find peace amid the chaos…and to keep moving forward.

Everyone has a story.

And just like us, no two of these bracelets will ever be exactly alike.

May it remind you that…

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared my bracelets.

Midlife has a way of asking you to slow down, get quiet, and listen more closely. Maybe that’s why this one feels so aligned.

Meet Celestine — a stone I’ve never worked with before. Soft, calming, almost ethereal. It carries the energy of clarity, inner peace, and higher guidance. The kind of stone that feels like a deep exhale.

I paired it with:

✨ Labradorite — transformation, intuition, quiet strength.
✨ Blue Tiger’s Eye (Hawk Eye) — grounding, protective, focused. A steady confidence.

Together the colors feel like the sky at dusk — layered blues, depth, light, and strength.

Yesterday I dropped off this beautiful display of bracelets, all with little heart details. Love & Heart Collection.
All proceeds from these bracelets will be donated to the Mazanakowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, AB. In memory of the store owner Dana’s mom, helping other families on the heart transplant journey.
The fundraiser is running from Jan 22 - February 29.

The heart collection of clothes, that I have shared photos of, are all part of the fundraiser, as well as that gorgeous candle by .ca.
