"You Are Not a Business Owner; You Are Just a Middleman"

When choosing where to shop, it’s not always about the price per gram. For me, it is always about the quality and credibility of the business. Selling jewelry alone is already considered a high-risk business. In my twelve years in the jewelry industry, I have not been exempted from experiencing such losses. I have already had three parcels that did not arrive, all under different circumstances.

BUT, our clienteles are the most important part of our business. Even if I lose money from undelivered parcels, I will never lose my clientele. Money can always be earned back, but reputation, integrity, and credibility will never be the same once they are broken.

I feel sad for those clients who just wanted to buy something precious with their hard-earned money, but ended up with nothing just because the business they trusted got scammed by its supplier. To me, if you are the one who took their money, you should be the one responsible for delivering their items. If they do not receive them, return their money. If you can’t, then you are not a business owner. You are just a middleman.
