There's a sentence you've been rehearsing in the car.
You know the one. You've run it eleven times, adjusted the wording twice, and delivered it exactly zero times to the person it's for.
September's stone is sapphire, and of all the birthstones it's the one with the least patience for that. It's a throat-chakra stone β the old associations are all clear speech, honest counsel, saying the true thing without decorating it first. Which, if you've spent thirty years keeping the peace, is a bigger ask than it looks on a page.
I'm not going to tell you a stone will make you brave.
I'll tell you what I've watched happen at a market table: a woman picks one up, turns it over twice, and says something out loud about her own life that she clearly hasn't said before. The sapphire isn't doing that. It's giving her something to hold while she does it herself.
Born in September? This one's yours. If you weren't, borrow it anyway.
