Chip just scared the crap out of us. Riley and I had just cleaned his cage and Riley took the tray down to the room to put it under his cage and had left the door open briefly. Chip saw an opportunity. All I heard were wings flapping a million miles an hour and Riley yelling, then I see this green blur flying past the bathroom and Riley following, moving at Mach 5 to get to Chip.

Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, however, Chip flew down the hallway, straight into our bedroom where Ollie was sleeping on our bed. Yes, the afternoon snack almost flew right to Oliver with zero work required.

The flapping wings scared the sh*te outta Ollie, which was likely the only thing that saved Chip's feathered behind. (Thank God for orange cats being scared of everything) When I got to the bedroom, Oliver was on the bed, eyes as big as saucers. I grabbed Ollie, and James grabbed Salem in the hall while Riley cornered Chip after he flew off the floor and into James' clothes basket and took him down the hall to his cage. My God. Now I'm sweating and having a hot flash.

Get a bird....
