I AM 74 AND I ADOPTED A GERMAN SHEPHERD WHOSE OWNERS WANTED TO EUTHINIZE HIM.

When my son called me about Hunter, my heart broke. A young couple had brought this beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd to the shelter, asking to have him euthanized because they were moving and couldn’t “handle a big dog anymore.” A dog they had fostered since he was a puppy — they just tossed him aside like he didn’t matter. The shelter refused, of course, and kept him, but when I heard the story, I couldn’t stop thinking about him.

I told my son I wanted to adopt Hunter, but he was hesitant. “Mom, he’s a big dog — what if he’s too much for you?” he said. But I’ve had big dogs before, and I know how to handle them. Plus, when I met Hunter, I saw right away that he’s a gentle, obedient soul. I brought him home that day. Now, Hunter follows me everywhere, curls up at my feet, and watches over me like he knows I saved him. It's hard to imagine anyone seeing him as a burden.

He's my family now, and I'll never let him go. 🐾

I found him on the street a few days ago. Tiny, alone, shivering… He looked so lost in a world too big for him. Since the moment I brought him home, he hasn’t stopped looking at me — as if I’m his entire world now. As if I’m his last bit of hope.
He follows me everywhere, snuggles close, and searches for my eyes as if to check that I’m still here, that this is real. He barely meows, but the way he stares at me speaks volumes — a soft, fragile trust only a broken soul can give.
Welcome home, Milo, my little heart. I promise you’ll never be afraid again. You’re safe now. We’ll heal together.

💰 He built an empire so vast, it changed the world...
But what changed him was something you can’t buy.
John D. Rockefeller — born in 1839, founder of Standard Oil — wasn’t just rich.
He was the world’s first billionaire.
At 25: he owned one of the largest oil refineries in the U.S.
At 31: the biggest refiner in the world.
At 38: he controlled 90% of all U.S. oil.
At 50: he was the richest man in America.
Every step of his early life was a strategy.
Every move — calculated to build wealth.
And he succeeded beyond imagination.
But at 53...
His body began to break.
He lost his hair. He could barely eat.
Doctors told him: “You don’t have long.”
He could buy anything — but could only stomach soup and crackers.
No joy. No peace. No rest.
The richest man alive… was slowly dying.
Then something shifted.
One morning, he realized a truth no money could silence:
He couldn’t take a single dollar with him.
That day, Rockefeller made a decision:
He would give it all back.
Hospitals. Universities. Scientific research.
He funded the penicillin breakthrough that would save millions.
He launched the Rockefeller Foundation — and rewrote his legacy.
And something miraculous happened.
The man who was told he wouldn’t survive the year…
lived to 98.
He didn’t just get healed.
He found purpose.
Later in life, he wrote:
“God taught me that everything belongs to Him... My life has been one long, happy holiday since then... full of work and play. I let go of my worries along the road — and God was wonderful to me every day.”
From a billionaire to a benefactor.
From empire to empathy.
Sometimes, the richest thing a man can do…
is give it all away.

During one tense bullfight, matador Alvaro Munero did the unthinkable. As the crowd cheered, wanting the next dramatic move, he abruptly stepped away from the bull, walked to the edge of the arena, and sat down. The roaring crowd fell into stunned silence.
In a post-interview that came from his heart, Alvaro shared this life-altering moment that led to his decision:
"In one moment I forgot the existence of the horns. All I could see was his eyes, standing there, not with rage but with something much deeper-innocence. He was not attacking me; he was just looking at me, pleading wordlessly for his life. That is when it came into my mind that this isn't an animal I am fightng; this is a living thing that wanted to live as much as I did.".
His eyes had that purity that only animals possess, and in them, I saw that undeniable truth. I felt an overwhelming surge of guilt; it was as if I had become the most heartless creature alive. I couldn't continue. I dropped my sword, left the arena, and made a promise to myself: I would no longer fight bulls; I would fight against a world which makes a game out of the torture of others for amusement.
The story of Alvaro Munero is a rare, powerful look into the transformative force of compassion, even in the most unlikely of places. It is a reminder that one moment of connection can change a life, inspire a new purpose

"My husband found this sweet beagle mix a week ago. She had a huge chain hanging off her and a collar digging into her neck. She was covered in ticks and absolutely filthy.

We posted her everywhere, reported her, all the legal things but nobody came forward.

We definitely are okay with her staying with us.

Her name is Bagel and she's quite happy to have a cushy life now.

We took care of ticks. Dewormed her. Fleas/tick meds. Cleaned the neck wound and got her a new clean collar (is very loose for now so it doesn't touch the wound).

She has an appointment to get spayed and vaccines coning up.

She's never gonna be neglected again and i think she knows."

This precious baby, a La Plata dolphin that was stranded after birth, is being hand-reared in Uruguay, South America. The newborn baby still had his umbilical cord attached, meaning he had just been born. By grace he wanted it, it fell into the hands of Richard Tesore, who works at a wildlife rescue center. He feeds her a bottle and takes her to practice swimming in the sea all the time. Enjoy swimming in the sea in Piriapolis. This baby is very special as La Plata's dolphins are considered a vulnerable species. She will be staying at SOS Marine Fauna Rescue and will continue to be hand-reared until she is strong enough to care for herself. ( Richard Tesore is the head of S.O.S Marine Wildlife Rescue. )❗️✨

Julia Roberts, recently talked about her age and why she looks older than many contemporary artists who want to keep looking young.

“I am aging with dignity, humor, and serenity..

I don't resort to lifting or Botox and I know by Hollywood standards I'm risking my career. If they don't want to give me a role because I look old, it means I produce the project and I choose who I want. The important thing is not to take this job too seriously.

I know a lot of moms struggling to make ends meet: those are the serious problems, those are the women I admire, who are beautiful and good even when everything is hard. Honestly, I have other fears...

I fear for my children, that I cannot protect them from anyone who wants to take advantage of them.. It's more important for me to be well and make my family live well..

I'm blessed and I appreciate all that I have!. I’m thankful for my husband and kids everyday. For this reason, for me the most important moments of the day are never the ones I spend on set, but the ones I have at breakfast because we talk about everything...

It's a magical moment. "

How beautiful it is to be planted in the Earth and live it to the fullest without the frivolity of marketing.

We are valuable because of who we are, not how we look!!!.

I just adopted her. I always dreamed of having a dog like him, but there was never one at the spa... Until they call on me Her former owner abandoned her after having a baby. I’ll never understand how someone can turn your back on such a gentle, loving being. When I went to pick him up, he looked me straight in the eyes like he knew this time was for life. He is so calm, so adorable... and now, he's mine, forever. We start a new life together, a life full of love and tenderness.

This dog waits silently, in the corner of a room, hoping that one day someone will adopt him. He was abandoned after the birth of a baby. Since then, he has struggled to eat, play and feel loved. He's alone, lost in thought, but always filled with hope. Maybe someday someone will come and give him the affection he deserves.

Peyton Manning Left a Gala in a Tuxedo — Just to Sit on the Floor With a Crying Kid in the Hallway.

It was a black-tie charity event.
A fancy hotel ballroom.
Crystal glasses.
Chandeliers.
Auction paddles raised by the wealthy and well-known.

Peyton Manning was the guest of honor.
Scheduled to speak.
Everyone waited.

But backstage — in the hallway outside the ballroom —
a 9-year-old boy was sobbing.

His name was Dylan.
He had won a contest to attend with his family.
Huge football fan.
Especially Peyton Manning.

But the moment overwhelmed him.

The noise.
The cameras.
The pressure.

He had a speech prepared to introduce Peyton —
but now?
He was curled up on the floor in a little suit,
hands over his face, whispering:

“I’m gonna mess it up.
I can’t do it.”

Then the door opened quietly.

And Peyton Manning stepped out.

Tux pressed.
Mic still clipped to his collar.

He didn’t say anything at first.
He just sat down.
Right on the floor beside Dylan.

Cross-legged.
Eye-level.

Then he said:

“Hey. Want to hear something crazy?”

Dylan sniffled. Nodded.

“The first time I ever gave a speech, I forgot my own name.
Froze.
Just stood there like a scarecrow in cleats.”

Dylan looked up.
Wide-eyed.
Half a smile.

Peyton grinned.

*“But here’s the thing:
It’s not about perfect words.
It’s about heart.

And I heard you’ve got a big one.”*

He gave Dylan his tie.

“Wear this for luck. It’s been on some good stages.”

Then they stood up together.

And when Dylan walked out to that microphone —
tie too long for his small frame,
but chest held high —
the entire ballroom went silent.

He introduced Peyton with a quiet strength
that made grown men tear up.

After the speech, Peyton said only this:

*“I thought I was the guest of honor.

But I think we just found the real star of the night.”*

Dylan keeps that tie framed on his wall.
And every time he gets nervous,
he remembers:

“Peyton sat on the floor with me —
when no one else would.”

MY DAUGHTER LEFT ME MY GRANDSON AND JUST VANISHED—THREE WEEKS LATER, I GOT THIS CALL THAT SHATTERED MY HEART.

My daughter asked me to watch my grandson for two weeks—she had to leave on a last-minute work trip. It was short notice, but I love spending time with my grandson, so I didn't think twice. She dropped him off with a big suitcase and hurried off to catch her flight.

Nothing seemed strange to me... until I looked inside the suitcase. There were clothes for every season—fall, winter, spring—plus all of his toys, all his medicine! It didn't feel like a two-week stay... it felt like she wasn't planning to come back at all.

I called her again and again—in vain, no answer. I spent the next few weeks in tears, worried sick. And when I almost lost hope, I finally got this video call. 😨
