This week, auctioned a remarkable Patek Philippe for an astonishing US$14,000,000. Many influencers and specialized blogs — including , now owned by the LVMH group — are celebrating the sale.

Unfortunately, none of them have mentioned that the watch is fake.

The level of corruption within the so-called “professional watch bloggers” circle has become unacceptable. This is exactly why I stopped collaborating with them. In recent years, some of these outlets began charging brands for coverage, demanding payment to feature or even mention our watches.

I prefer honesty and transparency. I value the opinions of genuine collectors who speak from passion, not profit. You will never see a paid article about my brand — only sincere reviews from true enthusiasts.

Happy 4th of July!

Today, as we celebrate the spirit of independence, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for all of you who share a passion for our timepieces. Your enthusiasm and support have created a vibrant community that I truly cherish.

Each Dan Henry watch tells a story, and it’s inspiring to see how these timepieces connect us across borders. While I may not be American, I admire the values of freedom and camaraderie that this day embodies.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. I hope you enjoy this Independence Day with family, friends, and perhaps a few of your favorite watches!
