Founded in 1991, ‘Zografov & Son’ is a family business for the design and manufacture of items from noble and non-ferrous metals and exotic wood. They make jewelled dishes, souvenir replicas of items from antique treasures, official protocolic gifts, interior and exterior metal decorations (railings, grilles, arches), accessories for pipes and ci**rs and other. The technology they use is close to

that of the ancient craftsmen, which they have enhanced with modern methods to achieve high quality and durability. The family business has been passed down for generations - the great-grandfather Bozhin-Emanoil Stimeniy Zograf (1834-1926), born in the Vardar town of Enidzhe, was an artist who studied iconography in Athens. According to his son Vasil Zografov, he drew almost all the church walls in the region (Vardar, Kilkis, Doyran, Nigrita, Strumica). The founder of the firm is his great-grandson Nikolay Zografov, who previously worked in filigree and silver jewellery (until 1986) and wrought copper (1986-1991) for the State ‘Narodno Tvorchestvo’ (Folk Art) department. Among those owning items of "Zografov and Son" are Angelina Jolie, Anatoly Karpov, Klaus Meine, Felix Baumgartner, Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, former and current heads of states such as Vladimir Putin, Georgi Parvanov, Bronisław Komorowski and Nursultan Nazarbayev, ambassador James B. Warlick, Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and President Bill Clinton, to whom the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation (CGDC) award, made by the company, in the shape of a globe, designed by Lyubomir Zografov, was given by President Petar Stoyanov.
