Recent find 😳

I discover this Watch for the first time thanks to the article on by Thomas Rosputinsky.

This 1960s Nivada Grenchen Wanderer Alarm is one of those pieces that quietly disappeared from the market while bigger names took the spotlight.

Powered by the legendary Vulcain Cricket alarm movement, the Wanderer shared much of its DNA with one of the most iconic mechanical alarm watches ever made — yet remained far harder to find today.

What makes it fascinating is exactly that contradiction: a technically impressive traveler’s watch, produced in small numbers, from an era where Nivada was experimenting with bold tool-watch design before the quartz crisis changed everything.

The case proportions, the utilitarian dial, the mechanical alarm complication… everything about it feels purpose-built for another time. A watch imagined for businessmen, pilots, and travelers crossing continents long before smartphones replaced reminders and alarms.

And somehow, despite all of that history, the Wanderer still flies under the radar. Which is probably why collectors love them so much today.

Presenting this beautiful Girard-Perregaux bracelet watch in 18k white gold filled, featuring an incredible snake-inspired design with textured scales across the bracelet and 5 removable links.

An elegant and unusual vintage piece powered by a manual-winding caliber, with its signed GP crown. The barked finishing on the bracelet gives the watch a sculptural look, almost like snake skin wrapping around the wrist. 🐍✨

A truly distinctive jewelry watch combining horology and design in a very 1970s spirit.

Cartier Santos two tone ref. 2961

Imagine landing in Mexico City in 1987…
This exact watch, bought at the Duty free in the airport, nearly untouched ever since.

Full set, never polished — the edges are still razor sharp, catching the light like they did on day one.
Flip it over and you’ll find its original red engraving, a detail that makes the difference.

This is the kind of Santos collectors look for:
the iconic sapphire cabochon, perfect proportions on the wrist, and that timeless two-tone look that just works.

A watch that hasn’t just survived time : it carries it.
