I often get asked how to keep silver jewellery from tarnishing. The good news? It doesn’t take much. Here are my 5 favourite tips:

1. Wear it often.
Natural oils from your skin help slow down tarnishing.

2. Wear it with care.
Take off your jewellery before gardening, lifting heavy objects or doing household chores.

3. Store it properly.
Keep your jewellery in an airtight bag or jewellery box when you’re not wearing it.

4. Avoid chemicals.
Perfume, hairspray, lotions and cleaning products can speed up tarnishing. Put your jewellery on last.

5. Clean it regularly.
Gently polish your jewellery with a soft polishing cloth to restore its shine

Bonus tip: Don’t worry if it tarnishes. 🫶🏼
Tarnish is a natural process and can easily be removed with a polishing cloth or silver cleaner.
