bandcamp friday has come and gone again, much to the chagrin of my bank account, but also it means I have a lot of very good new music to add to the amazing tracks I still had from last week(s). After a few very good weeks I added even more new music thanks to another bandcamp friday! So most of this one is some very good new music! Alright before tomorrow's weekly mix I have time to push a third in the list of discoveries I made myself thanks to doing this weekly mix. And time I changed gears to the harsher, more aggressive side that I will always love as well!
Another artist that I seem to like everything they release Slichtnacht manages to take the harder technoid side of TBM and fills it with tons of big catchy synth hooks. Coupled with the relentlessly pounding beats all of his music is tailor-made for the dancefloor and the only problem is always going to be choosing which of his tracks I'll try to pummel an audience into oblivion with. On top of this he's a very accomplished remixer - regular followers/listeners will have no doubt taken note of the remixes he did for Sven Phalanx & Eleven-FX and Device Noize among others!

Time for the 2nd artist in my 2 years of :beatnation: discoveries overview.
Vaein came to me through his insanely good, insanely dirty and insanely gay cover version of Santa Baby. Yes that Santa Baby. Which will soon start featuring in my mixes again. Since then I've been enjoying everything he's put out and can't wait for more from this deliciously q***r artists with the equally delicious deep voice. Whether he wants to have a hot goth summer or he's just a satanic f***t in a black leather jacket this man manages to take very minimal music to a very maximal climax. I'm living for every track!

Today marks 2 years of weekly :beatnation: mixes. Last year I marked the first anniversary with a megamix best of but somehow doing the same again doesn't seem like the best idea. Ask me again at 5 years ;-)
This weekly mix is fuelled by a nonstop search for new music, and as a result a lot of artists came onto my radar that I might not have even known about without doing this.
So I'll be showcasing my favourite artist discoveries over the following days/weeks.
Up first is AGNIS. Her self-described Witch pop is just the right amounts of dark and poppy, My love for the track Baba Yaga is by now very well documented, but literally everything she has released in the last 2 years is just amazing. Her versions of Toxic and Abracadabra, and last week's release of Mile Deep Hollow show she's equally adept at covering another artist's work as she is at creating the next hit you can't get out of your head. Add that to her clean and powerful voice and you have an absolutely top artist that has me anticipating every upcoming release with a whole lot of impatience!

Yes! Tuesday means here's your weekly overview of what moi deems to be the best new releases as well as some of my own (recent) favourites. This has been a good period for new music and I figure 3 bands deserve an extra shoutout for having recently/just released albums so good that In order to keep things moving I'm playing 2 tracks per set from them. I'm blown away this week by the listening numbers of my latest mix. I haven't seen as many people listen as long to one of my mixes as this one😍 after 2 days I had over 1000 minutes listened so thank you all, I hope everyone listening made a wonderful new musical discovery 💖. With that said: it's friday again! Weekly mix on Youtube day has arrived. For those who don't like listening on Mixcloud and like original album art - you're all set again!

The week after bandcamp friday means lots of music left over from bandcamp friday. (and for once I didn't have to spend quite as much as usual on this mix)
Still a lot of good new music, some classics, a silly ending and figured out what caused the previews occasionally bleeding into my mix last week. And I managed to add some of the people I will go see on Friday at la luna obscura in Ostend. If you see me come say hi and get a sticker!
