A design story spanning decades.

During his travels as a young goldsmith in the early 1960s, Ole Lynggaard was captivated by the snake motif at the National Museum of Cairo – an early inspiration that would later surface throughout his work.

Drawn to its graphic, fluid form, he began to interpret the serpent in his own design language. It would take decades before his vision fully took shape, and in 2013 he introduced The Snakes Collection to the world. Since then, the collection has evolved and remains one of his most distinctive design expressions.
