Not all gold jewelry is the same. ✨

Many people think gold plated and gold vermeil are the same but the difference lies in the materials and the thickness of the gold layer.

Gold vermeil is made with sterling silver and a thicker layer of gold, making it more durable and longer lasting than standard gold plated jewelry.

At Jacky-Lee, all our gold pieces are crafted from sterling silver with a 3 or 5 micron gold layer, also known as gold vermeil.
