Some jewellery carries more than a story. It carries generations. ✨💎

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day in Antwerp, my hometown. 🌷 Antwerp celebrates Mother’s Day on August 15, a tradition linked to the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the patron saint of our city since the Middle Ages.

It felt like the perfect moment to share this story. 🤍

My mother was given the diamond from my grandmother’s first engagement ring 💍 and asked me to create something with it that she could wear every day. We transformed it into a necklace, so she can now wear this little piece of our family history daily, close to her heart. ❤️

Creating jewellery for the people you love is incredibly special. For me, this is what jewellery is about: pieces can evolve and take on new forms, while the memories and stories they carry continue with us. 💫

One of my favourite things is watching how differently people respond to jewellery. What catches their eye, what they instinctively reach for, and how a piece changes the moment they put it on. ✨

Hosting our first LX Antwerp event in Antwerp, my hometown, made seeing those reactions in person even more special. 🤍

Building a brand isn’t just about launching beautiful products.

It’s about the countless hours that no one sees. The ideas that don’t work. The exciting discoveries. The long days, the unexpected challenges, and the moments that remind you why you started in the first place.

Over the last few months, that’s exactly where my focus has been.

I’ve been so busy creating that I forgot to share the story as it was unfolding.

So from now on, I want to change that.

More than a ring, a future heirloom. ✨

Designed using her grandmother’s original diamond necklace, this custom piece was reinvented into two rings at the client’s request. Allowing her to wear them in multiple ways today, while keeping one to pass down to her daughter in the future.

A story carried through generations, reimagined into something timeless. ✨
