💎 ERICA MOLINARI 💎
Some collections feel contemporary. Others feel timeless. Erica Molinari creates jewellery that quietly manages to be both.
Self taught and designing independently since 2005, Erica brings together old world symbolism with a distinctly modern sensibility, creating pieces that feel soulful, personal and designed to be lived with. Before jewellery, Erica competed as a member of the US National and Olympic Luge Team, representing the United States at the Winter Olympic Games in Calgary in 1988 and Albertville in 1992. That same discipline, curiosity and resilience continues to shape her work today.
Drawing inspiration from Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian references, Erica has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in symbolism, sentiment and storytelling. Her double sided silver and 18k gold charms feature hand created motifs alongside Latin and Italian phrases exploring themes of devotion, friendship, faith, love and empowerment.
More recently, Erica has expanded her practice to include hand engraving and vitreous glass enamelling, reinterpreting historic techniques through a fresh and deeply personal lens. Every motif is created by hand, resulting in pieces that feel both ancient and entirely of today.
