We were supplying all kinds of natural gemstones all over Bangladesh. After long time, we decided to add diamond jewellery as an extension of this company. So in 1985, we started selling diamond jewellery as a wholesaler. Within this time the company has earned fame and goodwill in the diamond jewelry and gemstone market. After that, CEO had the simple idea of doing retail diamond jewelry and gemstone business. Thus we can provide a superior shopping experience to our customer. With this mission, in 1990, Md. Ismail Hossain opened the Gems Jewellers & Gems Stone first showroom at Baitul Mukarram Shopping complex in Dhaka. We become one of the largest specialty retail jewellery shop in Bangladesh. After that, because of our major customer request, we decided to shift our showroom from Baitul Mukarram to Police Plaza Concord Shoping Complex in Gulshan to give better service to our customers in June 2015. Why do diamonds often contain garnet inclusions?

Diamonds and garnets are deep-Earth companions. Certain garnets—such as chromium-rich pyrope or almandine–pyrope—grow alongside diamonds more than 90 miles below the Earth’s surface. As the diamond forms, it can trap nearby garnet.

Both minerals are later carried to the surface by powerful volcanic eruptions called kimberlites. Because garnets are far more common than diamonds, geologists use individual garnet crystals as clues when searching for new diamond deposits. Finding specific types of garnet can signal that diamonds may also be present nearby.

If sealed inside a diamond, garnet inclusions become scientifically valuable, because their chemistry reveals whether the host diamond formed in peridotite or eclogite, two distinct types of mantle rock. Each garnet type formed under specific pressures and temperatures, helping scientists pinpoint the diamond’s birthplace deep underground.

The diamonds seen here are a natural two-for-one gem: a diamond on the outside and garnet within—recording a story millions to billions of years old.
