This post is for my followers who haven't yet seen my work in real life.
A little insight into the process.
First step is finding a bead fabric combo from my ever growing stash of fabric scraps and beads from broken jewellery.
I then figure out the shape depending on the fabric pattern and beads I'm going to use. I love this process. Its a lot of trial and error but when I get it right they look awesome.
I then see the fabric inside out with back stitch. Turning them in the right way and sewing the hole up.
I then see each bead on with a double stitch, they shouldn't go anywhere. I then sew the hook on which I sew 3 times with a doubled up thread.
This process can take from an hour to 4 hours depending on the size of the beads and the size of the earrings. The fully beaded Brooches take days
Its lucky I really enjoy the process and love the creativity involved.
