I am happy to look at clocks and provide an estimation of the cost of repair. Please note, clocks can be temperamental with quirky characteristics, so each repair is unique and can be unpredictable. However, I will always communicate honestly and openly about how your clock is progressing and any unexpected developments.
All repairs are provided with an explanation of the work undertaken, and a warranty on all work performed by me.

I make periodic trips as far as Mt. Gambier, Ballarat and Horsham to collect and return clocks. Contact me if you would like to organise for a clock to be collected on my next run.

Many clocks become damaged over time when servicing is overlooked or neglected altogether. This allows grease to become dry and gummed up, leading to the clockwork sticking, losing time or randomly doing odd things. Clocks exposed to damp conditions (hello, Warrnambool!) may develop rust in the cogs and other working parts. Clock faces and hands may become tarnished over time, leading to a general look of neglect, or it can even become difficult to see the time.

Clocks became my passion early on in my apprenticeship, and I enjoy nothing more than taking the clockwork and restoring it to be as good as new. I find that clocks are like a good whiskey; they become more interesting and enjoyable with age. If you have an old clock that needs a little help, I would love to take a look!
