Today feels like a very special day to share this, as it would have been my beautiful Nan’s birthday.

72 years ago, she started this little business on Norfolk Island, never knowing just how much it would grow to become a part of our family, our lives and the wider Norfolk Island community.

Over the past 72 years, the business has continued to evolve and grow, with my Mum taking the reins and pouring her heart and soul into making it the successful and much loved business it is today.

The Norfolk Emporium is more than just a business to our family. It holds so many memories and so much history. It has been a part of Norfolk Island for over seven decades and has become an iconic part of the island’s retail history, welcoming generations of locals and visitors through its doors.

It’s hard to put into words how special it feels to be sharing this today. This business is a huge part of our family’s story, but it is also a small part of Norfolk Island’s story, and we feel incredibly proud of the legacy my Nan started all those years ago.

Now, the time has come for us to find someone who will love it as much as we have. Someone who will appreciate its history, see its potential and continue its story into the next chapter.

We would absolutely love to see this iconic Norfolk Island business go to someone who will make it their own, while honouring the legacy of the incredible women who came before them.

Long time no chat – life has been busy, but I’ve still noticed so many of you popping onto this page 🥰 It made me wonder if there’s still some love out there for Tiny Blooms.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new supplier, but the cost of each flower has gone up 😩 To keep prices close to what they’ve always been, I’d need to do one big bulk order.

Soo… I’m thinking of doing one big Christmas drop around the end of November🎄✨

Volunteers are ordinary people doing extraordinary things ✨️

Does anyone have any friends or family that can volunteer one hour per fortnight, to spend time with a socially isolated aged care resident in bray park?

I also have a heap of volunteering opportunities all over Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich , if bray park doesn’t suit.

No flowers just yet,but please keep checking back it’s all been a bit crazy lately.

I just wanted to share with you all, another small business, lifesaver and perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Not Sadie is a cleaning and organising company that services north side in Brisbane. Charlene did a wonderful job helping me keep on top of things, when it all got to hard. I know good cleaners are hard to come by so I make no hesitation sharing my little secret of sanity 😂

Over flowing plastics cupboard??? (we all have one) that we throw it all in and quickly shut the door to leave it to the person who opens it next. 😂

Last lots of Tiny Blooms are due to be picked up Tuesday. If there are any no shows I will post them back up for grabs. So please keep checking back.

I am very fussy with the flowers I put in my posys, so I am out of stock until I can source some good quality blooms in the new year.

Thank you to all my new and old customers for supporting me, it’s been a long time since I have been able to create them. I wasn’t sure if people would still love them, like I do. I am grateful for every single one of you 💕

🎄 Christmas Tiny Bloom Release and Special price of $5.00 for Christmas earrings with your posy purchase 🎄

These tiny blooms are real preserved miniature chrysanthemums that have undergone a special freezing process at the early stages of growth. These flowers can last up to 10 years with just a mist of water each week to rejuvenate . Once sprayed with water the tiny blooms will curl up to tiny little buds and reopen when dry , just like magic. You cannot kill these flowers because they are in a preserved state. Failure to care for them would result in the flowers deteriorating over time.

🌿Pick up is Warner 4500 , no postage sorry
🌿Pick up can be made from Monday - Wednesday from 3.30PM onwards. Or this weekend from 9-12 both Saturday and Sunday
🌿The preferred payment is PayPal but cash is accepted on collection as well.

Please comment sold under each individual photo, if the posy you’re after is sold please write NIL. I will contact you to arrange collection. If I do not hear from you with in 24 hours I will pass to NIL. You will be removed from the page if there is no communication, everyone’s time is important.

Each posy will come with a set of easy care instructions.

Best to get in quick , tag your kids , tag your partner or even better tag yourself !
