Quick hello
5 days in - over 130km’s walked, I’m exhausted but enthusiastic! Weather is well into the 30’s and unseasonably hot - 15° hotter than the average for this time of year.
I’m happy but have had pangs of homesickness and a few tears but that was to be expected and chances are there will be a few more along the way ###

I’m going to get off Facey and Insta for a bit now, my addiction to scrolling is real 🤓 and I’m going to spend the next month in Spain seeing beautiful sights and taking photos of the things that catch my eye

This table made space for some really lovely conversation and kindness last night.
A space where women chose to be, not because they had to, but because they wanted to.
Kind conversation. Deep understanding. Space for tears and a bit of unhinged laughter.
This is exactly what I had in mind when I created my Making Space Workshops.
Not just making jewellery.
Making room.
For stories, connection, creativity and the kind of conversations that remind you you’re not the only one carrying things quietly. 🩷

“As part of trying to step away from the endless scroll while I’m away, I’m going to be sharing my Camino through an app called FindPenguins instead of posting everything to Facebook. It’s a travel journal that maps the journey as I go, somewhere I can share photos, little moments, reflections and the places I visit in a nice space 🩷
I would love you to all follow along - you will need the app but hopefully I will make it worthwhile x

In just under two weeks I’ll begin walking across France and Spain, carrying far less than I normally do, both physically and emotionally. I honestly don’t know exactly what I’ll find out there, but I think that’s part of the magic of it. Buen Camino

Making Space Workshops
When I started these workshops, I wanted them to be something people choose to come to, not because they feel they should or because someone suggested it, but because it feels right for them.
The making of a simple ring gives us something to do with our hands while creating space to talk, listen, or simply be. There are no rules, no pressure, and no expectations.
I have only held two workshops so far and that is intentional. I never want it to become something I just do. I want it to stay sacred for you and for me.
I am not an expert in grief, but through lived experience I have learned how valuable it can be to have a gentle and neutral space to share.
There are 2 spaces left for this Wednesday night at 7pm.

Last night at a 21st, later in the night, I was on the dance floor with both of my boys.
I had one of those rare moments where I genuinely wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else in the world.
That was my Mother’s Day gift before the day had even arrived 💙💙

I have 2 spaces left in tomorrow’s sterling silver ring workshop before I take a break for a few weeks.
With Mother’s Day the next day, this could be such a lovely thing to do with your mum, your daughter, a friend, or just for yourself.
You’ll make three solid sterling silver rings from scratch in a small relaxed group. No experience needed. Just a few hours to slow down, create something beautiful and leave wearing pieces you’ll keep for years.
