I have just taken my website down due to the seemingly ever-increasing prices of precious metals. I have spent a lot of time this year updating the prices on the website, but I really cannot keep up - especially at the moment while I’m on holidays. In the last few years the cost of my raw materials in Sterling Silver have increased by a bit over 300% - in the past few weeks and months it has been almost impossible to track what it’s doing on a day-to-day basis, but has more than doubled since August this year. I just don't want to receive orders I can now longer fulfil at the listed prices. So, I’m spending my holidays relaxing and contemplating. There will be changes in the new year. I’m thinking exciting ones! I’ll take this opportunity to thank you, my customers, supporters, suppliers, advisers … Best wishes to everyone for the new year.

Eucalypt pop cluster ring with peridot. This little gem will be available at All About Art exhibition next weekend at 22 Bells Boulevard, Jan Juc. All About Art raises funds for the Peace of Mind Foundation that helps people and their families who are experiencing brain cancer. It's a cause very close to my heart. CLOUD MOUNTAIN TURQUOISE - I bought this beautiful little natural turquoise cabochon a couple of years ago when I met the lovely, one of a kind while taking part in a workshop with . Erika knows her rocks and makes beautiful cabs - she’s also an incredibly talented silversmith. This little pendant & turquoise stone have been sitting on my bench in various stages of design and making for quite a while now. I finally decided to use some of my ‘Vascular Lace’ etching as a background to the lacy turquoise. I hope I’ve done it justice.

CHANGE OF OPENING TIMES - PLEASE READ IN FULL. Due to some inclement weather being predicted for tomorrow, Saturday 8th, the Torquay Open Gardens are shifting their open day to Sunday 9th November. HOWEVER, Brackendell Urban Farm will be open on both days of this weekend. Come along and enjoy the beautiful sustainable gardens and the amazing garden art as well. There are also some fabulous paintings, sculptures and jewellery.... It's all about the garden. Enjoy.
