A few of my favourite views from around our new studio.

I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few months looking at this place and thinking about how far we’ve come.

When I started Ryley 13 years ago, there was no grand plan for a beautiful street-front studio. It was simply about making good jewellery, looking after people and trying to build something that would last.

This space feels like the first time the surroundings really reflect what I’ve always wanted Ryley to be. Considered, welcoming, a little different, and with the workshop and craftsmanship still very much at the heart of it.

There are little pieces of us everywhere. The old cabinetry, the plants, the botanical and insect prints, gemstones, books, bottles for the occasional celebration, and of course the workshop sitting right there in the middle of it all.

It’s taken a hell of a lot to get here, and there are still plenty of things I want to add and change. But every now and then I stop, look around and think…

Yeah. This finally feels like Ryley.
